It’s Saturday, Saturday!

First weekend home from our trip, soooo glad for Saturdays right now!  I jumped on the scale to see what I’ll be starting at on Monday (Day 1 of reboot), the weight was 168.2 which isn’t actually as bad as I though it’d be.  I was 162.2 from roughly August 3rd until September 14th when I was off the diet the whole time, and then gained 6 lbs during the cruise?  I’ll take that.

I’m also pretty excited that the amount is only 6 pounds.  I’m sure I don’t have too much glycogen to get rid of (water weight) unfortunately, so I’m not thinking week 1-reboot will be a huge loss.  I’m still hoping to get back down at least a pound a week, that’ll be 15 pounds in 15 weeks…so by January hopefully I’ll be down to about 150.0.

I’ve started looking at this diet as a lifestyle, and I’m OK with that.  It may take me a while to get to the weight I really would like (135ish) and I may need some time to adjust to the loss (body image) but again, that’s OK.  I turn 28 years old in just over 2 weeks, I have a lot of life left to live.  Once I get close to my goal weight, I think I’m going to start doing small weight training for gaining a bit of muscle tone, probably in my arms and stomach.
