Product Review: Wonderslim Snack Bar – Cookie Dough

So, this morning I realize I’m completely out of my Meal Replacement Bars, so that only leaves me with “Snack Bars”.  You may be wondering what the difference is.  Well, a snack bar only has 10g of protein, rather than its higher counterpart, the meal replacement bar, which has 15g.

Basic nutrition breaks down as follows:

Saturated: 3g
Sodium: 80mg
Potassium: 55mg
Carbs: 21g

Now, on to the review!

Appearance:  This bar appears pretty small, maybe a half inch thick, 3″ long at the most and about 1.5-2″ wide, more like the 1.5″ mark.  Unable to see any cookie dough as it is all coated in chocolate.

First bite: Yay!  Cookie dough, like the raw kind you buy in the tubs consistency.  No chocolate chip “crunch”s though, you know when you get a chip and you’re in the middle of dissolving the rest of the dough in your mouth?  Sorry, no chips in these, maybe “fake” chocolate chips, but nothing with crunch.  Flavor is good though, and no aftertaste to speak of.

Nibble vs. Shovel: Either or in this case.  I should have shoveled, as I accidentally dropped a small piece that ended up being eaten by my garbage-disposal-of-a-dog, but aside from that, each bite it pretty much the same, no taste acquisition necessary.

Buy Again?: I bought a sample pack from Wonderslim that included the cookie dough, but haven’t tried the remaining 6 bars, so can’t say if I’d buy the sample packet again.  Would I buy the snack bars of cookie dough?  Yeah, sure, why not 🙂
